Andrew McMurray
CEO
Andrew is a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for responsible hydrocarbon recovery and technology development. Throughout his career, Andrew has been successful in developing and executing disruptive completion technologies as an operator with Shell and as part of a service company, STEP. Prior to Co-Founding ShearFRAC, Andrew was the General Manager of Canada for Darcy Partners, focused on identifying, developing, and accelerating innovative technology across multiple petroleum verticals.

Thomas Johnston
Managing Partner
Tom started thinking about how unconventional rocks fail in high school and went on to gain an MS Geology from Penn State University, focusing on geomechanics and reservoir engineering. He honed his passion for unconventional reservoir development at Noble Energy in the Marcellus, Eagle Ford, and Permian Basins. His last position at Noble Energy was as a development and operations geologist before joining ShearFRAC.

Matthew Sinkey
VP Engineering
Matthew holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. Before joining ShearFRAC, he spent nearly a decade at Calfrac Well Services, rising from Field Engineer to Manager of Technical Engineering. Matthew brings deep expertise in completions engineering, hydraulic fracturing design, and field operations to drive ShearFRAC's technology development.

Matt Adams
Chief Technology Officer
Matt is a Professional Geologist (P.Geol) with 18 years of global energy experience spanning unconventional reservoir development, geomechanics, and subsurface operations. He has managed teams of subsurface experts at a Fortune 500 company and led geological operations for one of Canada's most active drilling programs. Matt is affiliated with the University of Toronto's Grasselli Geomechanics Group and has published research with over 125 citations.

Raul leads ShearFRAC's sales efforts from Houston, TX. With extensive experience in the energy services sector, he works directly with operators to demonstrate the value of real-time pressure analytics for completion optimization and is focused on expanding ShearFRAC's footprint across key North American basins.
